The obvious answer for "Who will be the next season two star?" is Orange County Otters offensive lineman Greg Clegane. The monstrous man slotted in as a starter on the Otter's offensive line immediately upon being picked up off of waivers. Together with fellow OL Angus Winchester, the two offer a strong protective backbone for the Otters offense.
Once the first season is over, it will be tough for the Orange County Otters to hang onto Mr. Clegane. Many of the early mock drafts for season two have Clegane going first overall, and I don't believe he's ever fallen further down that third overall. The Otters might be looking to trade up in the draft to ensure they keep hold of Clegane's services for the future. The Otters offense has already struggled at times this season, with more of Mike Boss's protection leaving the team it could mean dire straights for the Otters.
It will be interesting to see how the draft shakes out. With the expansion draft also coming up, it will be difficult for the Otters to hang on to some of their most coveted players. Losing Clegane right after in the season two draft could signal the end of the Otter's run as one of the top teams in the NSFL.
