There are a lot of promising S2 draftees, but for now I think that the running back Ardie Savea looks like a legit candidate for being picked first. The New Zealand native was actually a rugby player before pursuing his career as a football player. So we already can say this player will be an interesting man to see as there are not a lot of former rugby players who made it into the NSFL league. To be exact, only Luke Tiernan managed to successfully change his style of play and he has already proved it's not impossible to make a transition. Also, Savea's work ethic should make his transition period even more easier.
He was claimed by the Sabercats team a week ago and he already made an appearance in two games. He amassed two yards in one attempt which is not a thing to brag about, but I should point it out that he was sitting behind more experienced guys like Bowers Jr. and Wiley so don't let these stats distract you. Also, he performed in both prospect games where he managed to collect 121 yards in 46 attempets with 12 yd's being the longest gain. He even was able to catch 1 pass which is actually a WR's job to do.
In overall, this guy should be a hot draftee who can not be missed. His performance in prospect games and his work ethic are going to provide a bright future for him, no doubts about it.
