One name that stands out from the S2 Draft Class is Bork Björnsson, defensive tackle hailing from the capital of Iceland, Reykjavík. Standing at 6’5” and weighing in at 330lbs he looks every bit as intimidating as a true Viking. His most proficient attribute is his speed, which he uses to beat offensive linemen off the mark. This is highlighted in the first two prospect games where he had 3 tackles in each, along with a sack in both games. One sack even resulted in a safety meaning Bork has already shown he can put points on the board from the defensive side of the ball. The Pomona Mongoose are very happy to have his services on their side of the two prospect teams and any team in the draft who passes on his talents will regret their mistake once the season starts. Bork will bring to the team that drafts him not only a great talent and locker room presence but a leader and most importantly a great celebration and crowd chant in the Viking Thunder Clap. This phenomenon, made famous by the Icelandic fans in the 2016 European Championships held in France, already has the fans in Pomona going crazy and would only add to the atmosphere in any NSFL stadium.
