Dermot Lavelle is probably the best player in the S2 draft class. He's one of the best shutdown cornerbacks in the league. He's the third player to have more than ten passes defended. He has now 13 passes defended, 2nd most in the league as a cornerbacks. He has also 53 tackles which is the third most as a cornerback. Having the chance to practice against the #1 WR in the league Josh Garden helped Lavelle growth. He can also be a edge rusher, he has 1 forced fumble and a recovered fumble. He's versatile, capable of understanding the opponent routes and can be a factor on any side of the field. He's only weakness would probably be his lack of strength but this is not a big deal as he can put some weight during the offseason. One of the expansion team will have a very good backfield for the next season because Dermot Lavelle is at least a top 2 players in S2.
