A somewhat unheralded S2 Prospect is OL Vincent Sharpei, Already a solid technician out of West Point, Sharpei has increased his physical abilities during his waiver season. Running a solid 30 Pancakes to 5 sacks allowed ratio, many thought that going into this season that the Army Black Knight would be overwhelmed against the seasoned players from bigger schools, however using this as motivation has caused Sharpei to hit the training room and video room just as hard or even harder than many of his offensive line peers.
His weaknesses would probably be a lack of top end physicality, that a physical freak could either out run or out power him, and the lack of a top flight opponent throughout his college career. He makes up for this shortcoming by being one of the most cerebral offensive players in the league thus far, all the physical talent in the world wont do much if you cant have the intelligence to back it up.
Also noteworthy is his attention to detail in his blocks. He is a technically sound blocker, and wont make a mistake too often. An interesting fact about Sharpei is that throughout his time at West Point (46 games started) he was only called for 6 Penalties total! That's an astonishing .13 Penalties per game... you read that right, not 1.3 but .13! No matter who you are or where you come from, that's some disciplined football!
