Yet again, those few GM's refuse to give up their control over the awards. They want to ensure that they can vote for their own players at the end of the season. There's no reason to vote no on an awards committee, other than not wanting to lose the power over who wins the awards every season. I can't wait for another wasted awards ceremony with completely random votes for IA and unworthy players, just because they were the best player on their team in the respective position. Or even worse than that, just not even voting at all. If they won't establish an awards committee, why isn't their a rule in place to ensure, through user and team fines and punishments, that voters actually vote and put legitimate thought into their ballots? Voting for the awards is a privilege, not a right, and it should be treated as such with penalties for those that don't take it seriously. For those GM's and HO members that voted yes for the awards ceremony, thank you. You know what the right thing to do is, and, as a player, I would be proud to be on the same team that you possibly GM or play for in the future.

First.
Nothing in this post really helps. It's just an attack on the fact that a vote didn't pass. You are creating a toxic aura around the topic by responding this way. This is an ongoing process and this kind of response doesn't really achieve anything. It actively sets us back actually.

Second.
The majority of people voted for this. It just didn't pass the 70% threshold required (with two votes missing entirely). More people voted for it than did last year and just shitting on GM's (who mostly voted in favor) is both inaccurate and pointless. It also doesn't help. Pointing fingers at people who largely already support something and berating them inaccurately is not the way to get them to continue supporting it.

Third.
This isn't an insult or a sign just a simple statement of fact.
You're not the person in position to make the argument for others to stop being selfish. Even beyond how you've gone about it here, you are not the person with that credibility. Maybe one day you will have that credibility but it's not going to be this close to your placing the importance of personal stats over correct sims in a very loud and aggressive manner. Again...not a dig. Just a statement of what is.
