It gets a little wild in Austin. Or admittedly, anywhere the team happens to be. That said, even when the team is on the road, the stadium opens up to fans who pay quarter price for tickets to watch games on the gigantic screens above midfield. In fact one of the best road traditions is that the team sets up football drills all over the field during away games, and fans can come down and try all kinds of real NSFL drills that players use and compare their numbers to their favorite Copperheads. Sobriety checks are of course required for certain drills. There's also a season by season competition where fans get to put their numbers up against other fans. The winner of each drill at the end of the regular season gets an authentic team jersey with their name and chosen number, photos with some of the players, and most importantly, priority seating for any home playoff games.
Post game, fans will often head down to the nearby Butler Park area for live concerts, as its become a semi-tradition quickly to have a few live bands and more food available. Or next door to the Pitch and Putt. Or the various bars nearby. And of course, all of the regular drinking, BBQ, and other shenanigans that go on before, during, and after each game. Players and even team management have been known to appear and take part in all the revelry. Notably GM Charlie law put on a big fake mustache and did the receiver drills last season (and his numbers were of course "mysteriously removed" from contention). Being a part of the Austin Copperheads fmaily is simply put, the single greatest decision you can make in the NSFL universe.
