Everybody always claims, "There's no stadium experience like (blank) stadium experience...well I'm here to tell you absolutely none of the stadium experiences in the DSFL or NSFL come anywhere close to matching the gameday experience in Yellowknife. If Being the northern most professional sports team in the world isn't already an experience in its own just wait until you see the stadium. The Wraiths play in the worlds largest igloo made from real ice and snow and during games in the summer there are days where it actually gets warm enough that the stadium begins to melt so fans come hours before the game and assist in rebuilding the stadium before kickoff. Another fun fact about Wraith gamedays is that they are actually Santa's favourite team since he lives just a couple hours away so he and Mrs Claus will often attend games much to the delight of the local children. Prior to every kickoff during player announcements each Wraith's starting lineup player also rides out onto the field on a reindeer which is another incredibly unique experience. Overall the experience at a Yellowknife Wraiths home game is something a football fan can't find anywhere else in the world...just make sure to bundle up!
