(S19) PT4 - ‘Tis the Season

I used Christmas as a reason to go home and spend time with my wife and son, as the travel during the season makes it hard to stay at home for long periods of time. I needed the break badly because this season has been rough physically and mentally. We had a good time opening presents and singing Christmas songs. My wife's parents came to stay for the holidays and they were a blast to have over. They live in Illinois and are huge Butchers fans. I got them a signed Leaf Jr. jersey and a game ball. I got my son a power wheels car and he has been driving around my front yard endlessly. My wife got her childhood dream car of a Jeep and a necklace. I also went to the Outlaws CFB party a few days after christmas. Unfortunately, my alma mater is not anywhere near playoff caliber but it's fun to see guys that are brothers on the field argue over their old college teams. Bucky gave himself a gatorade shower after Penn State won in OT against Florida. I had a great time during our few days off for the holidays and I hope that everyone else did too! Back to preparing for the next games ahead of us.
