8. Scouting Report
I decided to take a look at and make a scouting report for Tequila Sunrise, a wide reciever entering the DSFL draft. Sunrise is probably one of the more interesting people coming in to this draft. Coming from a baseball background, he's familiar to a lot of these rookies who are coming in at the same time.
With him, Sunrise is going to bring his personality and often contagious enthusiasm. He is a positive figure in a locker room, and someone that any team would be grateful to have on their side, as long as his interest is maintained.
But Sunrise is also a bit of a wild card as well, which is what makes him so interesting. And potentially risky. If his attention can be kept on the game, and he continues to enjoy playing, teams will find that they have a reliable and positive force working diligently to help them win, and acting as a powerful locker room energizer. On the other hand, if his interest wanes or if the situation that he's in becomes sour, he may instead quickly leave and his team would lose everything positive he could have had to offer.
All in all, Sunrise is a bit of a gamble for teams looking for a solid wide reciever in the upcoming draft, but his upside is massive and he is likely to be well worth the risk.

9. Brotherly Love
I have a lot of love to go around for the guys in this draft class of mine, so it's hard to pick just one person that I have a soft spot for. Several of us have been through a bunch together, but Holden Summers is the one who stands out to me. He is the GM for a team I play for in baseball, and is one of the absolute best GMs and friends a person can ask for. When I went into free agency and realized I wasn't going back to my old team, I didn't have to look around very far before I knew where I was going to sign, just because I knew that I was going to enjoy playing for Holden. And since that point he has only given me more and more reasons to stay and love the team I'm on. I don't know where I'd be in that league if it weren't for him and I'm glad I don't have to find out. He's also probably the person I least don't want to face on the field, as I'm sure that he is going to be an absolute monster out there someday. If there's anyone that I want on my side, it's going to be him, but I'm just glad he's here in this league with me.

12. Interview a draftee
Cal Lidous: So I see you're a Safety in the upcoming draft. Can you tell me a little about what your goals as a player are, and what you hope to achieve in the league?
Jeffrey LaVert: I want to be the best safety in the league and I just want to have a good time working towards it.
Cal: As GMs are looking at this draft and planning for the future, can you give us an idea of what seperates you from the pack? Why should GMs draft you over the other talented names?
Jeff: - Activity, I've already been really active since the start really
- Devoted, I haven't missed an opportunity to get TPE so far and I'm already around 85 TPE
- Performance, thru 3 games (1 being the playoff game against Tijuana) my player has 26 tackles, 3 PD, 1 INT (Which was a pick 6) and I'd like to think im a good guy to have in the locker room. Besides all that, what else is there to ask for?
Cal: How do you feel the three games you have played so far have prepared you for the draft? Would you say you think you have a leg up because of your newfound playoff experience?
Jeff: I think it's prepared me well, I've got some experience being in a locker room in MB, add in some of my performances and I feel like all of that has definitely given me a leg up on some of my competition.
Cal: Final question for you Mr. LaVert, the draft is about what GMs are looked for for their teams, but what are you looking for in a team?
Jeff: A good time.

Jay_Money: You decided to create as a QB with your first creation. Are you prepared for that level of responsibility?
Cal Lidous: I can confidently say that I am. While I may be new to sim leagues, I come from a similar background of fake sports where I've maintained a level of activity considered highly desirable, and been given responsibilities from being a captain to a GM. I think this is a role I'm not only prepared for, but most comfortable in.
Jay: What can you do that your fellow quarterbacks can't?
Cal: I believe I carry a level of dedication that is rare, and I combine that with having nearly unlimited free time. On top of that, I like to think I'm a major net positive in a locker room and someone who will always care about and support my team and teammates.
Jay: Are there any players offensively that you would like pair up with?
Cal: Bex has already been someone to make an impact on me in the league, and of course I love my fellows from baseball, but I would say I'm more interested in the community and getting to know everyone now, and being surprised by teammates, than looking to team up with anyone at this point.
Jay: What do you do in the offseason?
Cal: There is no offseason for champions.
