Brotherly Love
I come into the league with a ton of partnerships already formed due to my time in BBTN. I joined their universe slightly over two years ago. It was Christmas day when I joined the league. I began searching for a team that I could sign for. Two GM’s reached out to me with good prospects the Twins GM & the Nationals GM. The Twins GM presented me with a great pitch that showed to me how much he cared about the game so I signed there. That Twins GM is Holden Summers. I have been playing on the team that he GM’d since, even through the league split. Holden has been a great friend to have. Holden and I have talked pretty much every single day since Christmas 2017. I consider him one of my best friends not just online. We’ve shared many memories over the two years such as winning the BBTN league championship in Season 1 as well as our night in a war room VC together during the Season 3 draft. Many people have talked about me potentially leaving the Slayers to GM my own team but I will not even consider this as long as Mike wants to GM the Slayers, I couldn’t leave my best friend. Chip Otle: Defensive End – DSFL Prospect
Chip comes into the draft pool looking to be a stand out defensive end. The Long Island native is one of a plethora of “Slayers” to join the S21 draft class. Chip’s biggest strength’s during college was just that.. his strength! The defensive end is massive for a rookie. His prior coaches have said this is due to his love for Qdoba. They say the star defensive end is going to Qdoba daily for a double burrito lunch. His former coach at Michigan said that he would often motivate Chip by telling him to imagine that the opposing Quarterback is a Qdoba burrito.
Chip’s personality has that swagger you need. He’s got the sauce, or should we say queso? His personality is loud and active which is perfect to hype the locker room up on game days. Chip is not afraid to take on challenges and the DSFL won’t even be a challenge for him! He already has his sights set on the NSFL. Chip is determined to reach his goals of lifting the Ultimus Cup and filling it with Qdoba queso to dip his double burrito in. You won’t regret signing this husky black bean burrito to chase down opposing QB’s leading you straight to a title. (208 Words)
Interview a Draftee
Interview with future star QB Cal Lidous
1) What life event destined you to be a Quarterback down the road?
Growing up as a Boise State fan, we used to have a quarterback named Jared Zabransky. Early in his career BSU played Georgia. In the Bronco's first five drives, he threw three interceptions and fumbled once. They lost a lot. A couple of years later he had grown into a player that defeated Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. When one man can help his team win to that degree, how can you not want to do that yourself?
2) You'll be in the DSFL this season but what NSFL teams have impressed you so far? Any team you'll be rooting for this season?
To be honest, I haven't been paying much attention to the NSFL yet. That's a pipe dream for a guy who hasn't even been drafted yet, and I believe in keeping my head out of the clouds. My entire focus in going to be on the DSFL and helping whatever team I'm drafted to. Hopefully, there will be plenty of time to worry about the NSFL in the future.
3) Why did you decide on your archtype for your player build? And what archtype did you pick?
I'm a pocket passer. I chose this archetype because it gave a solid balance of accuracy and arm strength with both of them maxing out at 95. I'd love to have had a bit more speed, but I didn't feel it was worth the trade offs to the passing game that being a mobile QB would have forced.
4) Chipotle, Qdoba, or other?
Little local place called Cafe Ole. To die for.

Ultimus Ad
I would be in an Ad with Chip Otle where I would be making him do blind taste tests of different quesos. Everyone in the planet knows that Chip Otle is a massive queso dude and he is a top critic of queso around the country. So the commercial would start with Chip sitting blindfolded at a table. Then it’ll quickly dart over to me standing in front of multiple bowls of queso. I’ll give him one bowl of queso and tell him to try it. Chip will make a “meh” face and say it is Qdoba’s. Then after a second bite he will yell “NEXT!” A second bowl will be brought to the table labeled as Moe’s. He will take a bite and then yell at me saying “EW BRO Moe’s is terrible why would you even give me this”, followed by him throwing the bowl at the camera. I’d go wipe off the camera screen and then give him the final bowl. It would be queso in an Ultimus Cup trophy. Chip would make a face of pleasure as he eats the queso and then say “this is Chipotle’s beautiful queso in the Ultimus Trophy.. the trophy that I plan on winning multiple times in my career.” Then it’ll fade to black and say “Enter to earn a chance to meet Chip Otle and the rest of his teammates by order a bowl of Queso at participating Chipotle’s across the country.” (243 Words)
