3) Revenge
Obviously the team I want to get revenge on is the Orange County Otters. They have been the most dominant team in the history of the NSFL and have recently won a few titles as well. They are also in our own division as well and the main opponent that New Orleans has to worry about in upcoming seasons. New Orleans Second Line have really made a great path forward but we still need to make that final step. That final step being that we are able to beat Orange County. We actually got really close this season. Despite being huge underdogs, we actually were in the game in the playoffs on the road for a long time, almost the entire game and had a chance to take the lead late in the game. Next season hopefully we can make that last step forward, and beat Orange County to finally take the lead in the conference. They are our rival and we can and need to beat them. I think with our insanely active team, we are able to make huge strides in the future and ought to be able to challenge Orange County in the future. I think by next season we may even be close to them or pass them in TPE to start the season, which is an incredible success. We will still be the underdog for now, but the tide is turning slowly.
8) Scouting Report
Darrell Williams, aka Ry, is one of the best players in this current draft. He is a really amazing player, a running back, a really important position, and he will be incredible in this league. Williams comes into the draft as one of the premier players of the DSFL, a guy who actually leads all draftees in TPE, which is the most crucial stat you need to know about him. I know Ry from another league he and I are both in, the Pro Baseball Experience, where he is on my San Antonio Sloths, as Ryan Rose. Rose was picked up by the Sloths in the draft previously and has been arguably one of the best picks of my GM career, a guy who earns max TPE the entire time. He is close to the top in his draft class in TPE in the PBE as well, in arguably the best draft class of all time in the PBE, so we know that he can be a max earner here as well. Ry is an amazing person and will be great in this league and I can't wait to cheer him on on another team. He should be a dominant running back in the league soon.
19) OL or K/P Appreciation
I will actually give you not just one, but TWO amazing offensive linemen. Ulysses Grant and Givusafare Rubbe have been an excellent duo of offensive linemen for the New Orleans Second Line, where they are each playing in one of the two tackle positions on the outside of the offensive line. The duo lead the league in an astonishing way, both creating over 40 pancakes while not allowing a single sack. I know it seems almost impossible to believe it so I will say it again. They are two offensive linemen on the same team, who in an entire season did not give up a single sack, either of them! It's an astonishing result and performance by them and I know they will dominate in the playoffs as well. Both are incredible people as well and also helped us in the run game a ton, where they blocked for the most dynamic duo of running backs in the league and helped us to a league leading number of rushing yards between Forrest Gump and Marcella Toriki. These two are going to be dominating at the offensive line position for many seasons to come and really give a huge edge to our team that other teams simply cannot touch even remotely.
