12) Interview a Draftee
Larry Longshot - DE
1) What is your favorite football memory?
"Patriots 28-3 comeback"
2) What was your first impression of the NSFL?
"Its a great community with a lot of great people willing to help others navigate throughout the game."
3) You have signed up for the draft as a Defensive End. If you played DE in the NFL, which player would you most want to take down in a tackle? Which player in the 2021 DSFL draft would you most want to tackle?
"In the NFL I would most want to take down Lamar Jackson. The quickest and best QB in the NFL hands down right now, would be an accomplishment to catch up to him and tackle him. In the NSFL Draft I would most want to take down Juniped, he sucks and it would be an easy accomplishment."
4) You'll be drafted in less than a week to a DSFL team. What are some things you look forward to doing after being drafted?
"I look forward to bonding with my teammates over animated dots for the games."
5) You know a lot of Season 21 draftees. Name one player you hope to be teammates with and one player you hope to completely avoid. Explain why.
"I would love to be teammates with Cal Lidous. Im friends with him in other leagues and he is committed to this game 100%"
6) Pulp or No Pulp in our orange juice?
"Fuck Pulp."

8) Scouting Report on a Draftee
As a linebacker who played for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, I paid a lot of attention to one particular rival school: The Wisconsin Badgers. They were our biggest rival in our NCAA Division and our two teams have faced off a total of 129 times since 1890. Wins did not come easy against the Wisconsin football team this past season and thats in large part due to Badger Linebacker, Ryan Scott.
Ryan Scott impressed me a lot. I spent a lot of time studying linebackers around the league and Scott's speed and precision always caught my eye. He is 235 lbs of pure muscle and he can take down opponents with ease. His height also gives him an advantage to see down field in order to plot the right moves for success. When our offense was trying to score against Scott and the Badger defense, I couldn't help but watch how he focused. I expect his on the field skills to help him rise above his peers...except for me obviously.
Ryan Scott is also known well in his community. He volunteers often at local charities and helps lead fundraisers for children in need. He is also known to be quite social so whichever team drafts him will get an active player. He and I have never fully interacted but I do remember him shouting, "I love to win!" after a game between our two teams. Or maybe that was a Youtube video I watched with him in it. No no, I'm not a stalker.
Ryan Scott has the drive and skillset to kickstart his career in the DSFL. As he begins proving his merit in the minor league, he will catch the eyes of NSFL teams looking to draft an up and coming, young and exciting player. Good thing Ryan Scott will be there for the taking. (307 words)
9) Brotherly Love
Imagine a world where you wake up without one of your best friends in it. Now imagine you don't even know them yet. Two and a half years ago I was living day to day without knowing the impact that 2021 kicker draftee and overall great dude Lefty Louis would have on me. He is encouraging (tells me to always stay positive), he is loyal (been my friend nonstop since the moment we met) and thinks I'm awesome (which clearly means something is wrong with his head). I can tell him anything and everything without fear of judgement. When he agrees with what i'm saying, he provides insight and thoughtful reactions. But when he disagrees, he isn't afraid to challenge me. We've played together and we've grown together. I'm also very excited about his relationship. He met a Canadian (don't judge!) girl and he cares about her so much. I think he's gonna marry her one day and I hope I'm there to witness it. He deserves to be happy. When Ilook forward to the 2021 draft, I hope he and I get drafted by the same team. It would allow us to keep our bromance while working hard to accomplish something new: an NSFL Championship.
