PBE PT
2) Holiday Bowl
This season, for the holidays, the Ultimus floodlights are all removed from the stadium. Instead, millions of Christmas lights are threaded around every seat. Additionally, the Orange County Otters were required to wear new custom uniforms — instead of their traditional unis, they were given uniforms with bright orange, glow in the dark paint. Similarly, the Yellowknife Wraiths were also required to wear custom uniforms. However, since it is often difficult to make black see in the dark, they were all required to wear Santa Claus outfits over their traditional uniforms. Many experts believe that this new weight along with the additional heat from the heavy fleece-lined shirts and hats may have been responsible for the Wraiths' loss in the Ultimus. However, the fact that the otters were also required to wear elf shoes on defense has been pointed to as a counter-argument saying that the playing field was level. As a result of many complaints by the NSFL players association, these changes were reversed at halftime and the game was allowed to continue as they would've as if this was not around the holidays. However, before the members in attendance left, each member of the crowd was given a christmas present brought by Santa Claus

1. How have you liked the NSFL so far?
The NSFL has been great. It's a truly fantastic community that makes everyone feel good at any interaction level. It's awesome in NOLA, with a bunch of really fun and active people.
2. What can you do to get better at LB?
Probably be a little more active. This league is definitely a different beast than the PBE, and it hurts that I don't have that 72 million nest egg that I do there. I would really like to be getting more of the point tasks that I miss, I missed like 3 or 4 this season and last and its starting to add up I think.
3. What does NOLA have to do to win the Ultimus next season?
Probably the same as the answer to number 2. We have to stay active and keep building ourselves up, especially if we have to compete with teams like Orange County which are and have always been terrifying. In order to remain competitive, we have to keep doing what we have been — which starts on the ground with PTs and ACs.
4. Any defensive beasts you'd like to play with from the draft?
That's a really tough question, but I'm glad I don't have to answer it and instead will be deflecting to talk about how excited I am to play with CB Xavien Adams. He's already made an impact on the LR and I can't wait to see how we play together on the field.
