Once I win an Ultimus, I’ll let you know. Joking aside, I’d like to think that it would follow a similar path to what the NFL does. As a defensive player (and we can honestly broaden this to the point of saying as a non-QB), odds are I won’t be the Ultimus MVP. That won’t stop me from doing my own celebrations. I personally would be all about a trip to Disney. I’ve been there twice and am heading backing for my honeymoon. They call it the most magical place in the world and who am I to argue with “they”. I also don’t believe you can be too old to go. Take a look at Brooke and Robin Lopez. Two 7-foot brothers racing around Disney with each other having a great time. I think what I’ll probably do is invite all my NOLA teammates and the Milwaukee Bucks to come hang out with me there. I’m sure Giannis will be thrilled after winning his own NBA championship. After all that fun, I would celebrate privately with my close friends and family. They have all had a huge impact on my life, a lot of them pushing me to be the best player and person I could be. Regardless of if I win, I thank them for what they have given me. If I did win it all though, you can bet we would have one hell of a party. I would also go around the city of New Orleans and thank them for their support of the team. Win or lose, rain or shine, our fans show up and show out. We couldn’t be more blessed for that support and I would love giving back to them as well.
