It is an undeniable fact that every Ultimus champion must take to the NSFL discord and flaunt their worth to every other player in the league, the moment it happens. I can't possibly imagine a team that wouldn't do this. Taking your tirade around the channels is the digital equivalent of a triumphant march, or a field-side celebration. The players and the fans alike, all basking in this one moment of Ultimus glory. This tradition is not even restricted to the players of that particular team either. It can be shared among all the players that rooted for the team up to that moment, pushing that team forward through the playoffs, with the morale support. Additionally, rivals of the losing team can rally up and take the opportunity to taunt the losing team, all adding to the chaos that ensues. It's a wonderful discourse of players around the world, uniting under this self-created league. Having said this, I understand that some players do not enjoy the hectic party life, Discord chat parties included. I am one of those people. However, these players that do not participate are not going to detract from the activity in anyway, and so the visible side of the tradition is unaffected by them. Thus, the tradition lives, will live, and will last, for years to come.
