Well we all know that the Otters have won the last couple of Ultimus’ so I think we can safely assume that whatever the Orange County Otters do to celebrate winning is considered a tradition. My inside sources say that the Otters players love being near the beach. Everyone knows that the that Ultimus is played during the end of January every season so even Southern California is frigid, that’s what the locals call 65* weather. Well to celebrate each season the Otters want to go to the beach so the whole franchise packs into their private jet and flies down to St. Lucia in the south of the Caribbean. There the team has been mainstays for the Sandals resort since they visit every year for a week. The Otters spend their week vacation relaxing on the resorts beaches as well as hiking up the Pitons, St Lucian Mountains. They top off their trip by hosting a clinic to teach local St. Lucian kids how to play football. St. Lucia has a very low standard of living for most people so the franchise loves to give back when they can. If you want to get inside access to meeting some of your favorite Otters you should book a stay at the Sandals resort a week after the S20 Ultimus… they are bound to win again, aren’t they?
