In a Pythons season that has not gone as many would have hoped, I would nominate Osiris Firestorm-Fjord (@HalfEatenOnionBagel) for an award given to another player. There admittedly isn’t much to celebrate on the field for most players on the Pythons, but Osiris is currently leading our team in receptions as a tight end, which is great! The main reason that I would nominate Osiris for this award would be for his excellence as a team member off of the field. Losses on the field lead to frustration with yourself, with your teammates, and with your organization. Losing most of your games isn’t a great feeling, and I think that that can cause some tension in the locker room. Osiris has done a great job of being a positive influence on other players in the locker room, consistently getting hype for game days and helping out new players with any questions that they might have. As an entirely new player to sim leagues and the NSFL in general it has been a bit of a rough start into the league for me given the scenario described above. That being said, I think that having mentors like Osiris in the locker room has been a positive influence for myself and others through this troublesome season.
