As a member of the Sabercats last season and a FA target for them this season, I like this move.
I don't discredit Mr. Hunt who may have wanted to play elsewhere. The Expansion Draft screws up a lot of regular off-season stuff.
However, San Jose gave up a strong piece to grab Hunt, so losing him for Free is NOT an option.
