9. For some strange reason, Leaf has a soft spot for his former team, the Yellowknife Wraiths, who made their 3rd straight Ultimus. He still has a lot of former teammates on that team, he remembers a few, One of which is Nero Alexander. The days of Sack L.A. We were the most feared defensive front in the league for a few seasons while both racked up in the sacks department and the rest of the league continued to search for an elite duo like them. Another teammate Leaf enjoyed was quarterback Cooter Bigsby, who basically could throw a ball so deep that it could reach Vancouver in 4 hours, faster than any airliner. Cooter always has had a trick up god sleeve, you just did not what he was going to unleash on you, if it was either a 400 yard game or a 4 interception game, he’ll manage to find a way to pull a W. Another guy leaf knew a lot was Nate Swift, a talented speedy receiver, that’s why some people called him the Nebraskan Rocket. If you did not lock him down, he’d easily get 50+ yards on you, and even make your secondary look like a practice squad defense.
10. Reform, always a desire for the league, change is always needed to keep things fresh and keeps everything aligned in such a chaotic league. The first change I would make it that in the event the commish resigns from his or her position, A special commish election is to be held, where members of the league can announce their run, and state what their vision of the league is by their own eyes, like a truly functional society should be, reliable and powerful, just like head office is. The next big change I would do is probably the most obvious thing to happen in the league, is expand the league to 12 teams, and shake up the conferences. Im sick and tired of seeing the same teams making the championship, you got your otters, Wraiths, Second Line, etc. this will create 4 teams in the playoffs forcing the chaos of actually bringing divisional games to become the most important games of the league, and the foundation of a league with parity and a league with a chance that everyone could take home the Ultimus trophy. These are some of the necessary changes this league should take to be considered a powerhouse and an enjoyable league experience.

1. How do you feel about the otters during the dynasty run?
I'm not sure if I'd call it a dynasty or anything yet. Only because I feel like the tenure of a dynasty stretches beyond just three seasons, whether you 3-peat or not. Especially because we won three titles and were probably only the league's best team for one of those. I would view the Mike Boss led Otters as a dynasty because they were incredibly successful throughout all 9 or so seasons of his career, perennially one of the top teams. The Franklin Armstrong led Otters are definitely approaching that status, but I would want to see more sustained success before I throw that word around.
2. How do you rebound from an early playoff exit?
Hopefully the same way we did when Arizona bounced us out of playoff home field in our first game - by winning the Ultimus. That's definitely our target once again, as we felt like we were a really good team that underperformed and for the first time in a long time got more bad luck than good. I think the ASFC is going to be a battle between the top three once again, so the best thing we can do is earn home field advantage so we have the upper hand come playoff time.
3. What should the otters do in FA and the draft?
Last season was kind of rough for us in that we had two cornerstones of our title runs eyeing free agency and had lost a handful of players to inactivity. The number of active users grew a bit smaller with Lanzer Grievous going inactive as well. So we just need to inject some life into this team, the exact positions at which we get that aren't as important. Luckily, Gary Lazer-Eyes came back and gave us a much needed boost on our DL. So we definitely have some needs - S is a big one now. We'll also have to bolster our defensive line. But above all, we need activity.
4. What was your favorite part about being a gm?
I'm not really sure. I think the overall concept of building a team, bringing people together, and seeing that manifest in Ultimus wins was cool. The S12 and S13 wins were definitely special for that reason, because I took over when people were sort of viewing OCO as heading toward rebuilding. But we were able to navigate that, stay in the playoffs, and build a really good team that realized a vision we had of competing again in those seasons. I think the three-peat was cool for the same reasons, but at times a little bittersweet because we won a lot of games against teams who'd built their own great teams and were prevented by the sim from realizing success in the Ultimus
