4) Rivalry

My biggest rival team is the Myrtle Beach Bucs. This mostly comes down to their sheer arrogance, coupled with the fact that they haven't actually done anything to earn that arrogance. Nothing gets me more fired up to play than a bunch of cocky runners-up. When I'm in the gym, I'm working my hardest every day to win. I don't stop until I've reached that goal. Definitely don't stop to praise myself. Nobody will deny that Myrtle Beach has become a formidable team, but they won't have my respect until they earn it. Until I see them hoist a trophy and go on to successful NSFL careers, I won't believe in them. Right now I see a sorry bunch of players celebrating on their way to the endzone, and I wouldn't be surprised if they end up like Champ Bailey getting laid out and fumbling before the goal line.
I want to be clear, I don't hate Myrtle Beach or any specific player, but collectively, I think their mindset needs work. The only way that will happen is if they learn their lesson the hard way. That is why I consider them rivals and that is why it's a goal of mine to teach them that lesson.
6) Expansion
Written: There have been a lot of new players entering the league recently. If you were in charge of a new expansion team for the NSFL or DSFL, how would you go about it?

I think it's time for the league to get a little aggressive with expansion. I believe that DSFL expansion is a given this year. The past two classes will likely require the NSFL to expand next year as well. This will take us to a total of 12 NSFL teams and ideally 10 DSFL teams. Now you may be thinking why 4 new DSFL teams? Well right now we have an influx of players that will fill our current rosters as well as 4 new teams even if only half of the class makes it through the season as active players. Now in our history, many players make it through most of the first season as actives. This means that we have tons of players in the 100-200 TPE range that will not be able to contribute at the NSFL level who will be stuck in the DSFL as inactive corpses, and we need the DSFL league size to support that number. I will be applying to lead the charge with a new DSFL team.
As for the DSFL team idea I have in mind, after pouring through many terrible ideas, I finally believe I have the one. The Victoria Baysiders located in Victoria, British Columbia will feature a logo of a Labrador retriever (the British Columbian city's most populous dog breed) and use the colors gold and royal blue. Victoria itself is a beautiful city on the south shore of Vancouver Island just north of the US/Canadian Border. Perfect for a DSFL team in the Northern Division.
9) Brotherly Love
Written: We always talk about what teams and players are our rivals. This season, give me what team or player you have a soft spot for.
I really enjoyed my time at the end of the season playing with the Tijuana Luchadores. One of the highlights of that short time period was getting to play with a guy like Monty Jack. What a teammate. Willing to do whatever it takes to help the team. Works his ass of every day in practice. Most of all he always has the right mentality about the game. He understands that there's no taking shortcuts to greatness. You Get what you earn and nothing more. Our shared mindset on both this game and life is a major reason why I now consider him a friend and he has my complete and total respect.
I have no doubt that wherever he ends up, he will be a great asset to that team. I just hope that I end up on the same team so we can continue to put in hard work and lift an Ultimini. I know that the draft comes and goes and that you don't have much choice in where you end up, but I'll be rooting for him wherever his path takes him. Monty, if you see this, want you to know it's nothing but love man. Good luck.
