Myrtle Beach vs Minnesota
I don't think this game will be as close as some of the pundits are saying. Myrtle Beach is coming in riding a season high 10 game winning streak while boasting the league's best defensive unit of all time. Not just of the season, of ALL TIME. It's no coincidence that after adding generational talent HeHateMe PickSix to their already stellar defense, the Bucs have won 10 straight games while decreasing their points allowed week after week. The offense is on fire as well, driving deep with every possession to allow for easy red zone points. Minnesota may have had a similar record and a high powered offense, but the only time they faced the revamped Myrtle Beach defense, they held that offense to 3 points. Three. On their home turf. Three. They say that home field advantage is a big factor in these things. The truth of the matter is, Myrtle Beach are road warriors, we have so many fans everywhere that any road game is a home game. The trash talking has already begun, and Minnesota knows they can't score points against this once in a lifetime generational defense lead by team captain Vegeta. Don't embarrass yourselves further Grey Ducks. Just stay home on Wednesday.
5) Armchair GM
Written: What moves could your team make to improve for the next year, be it in free agency, keeping players, the draft, etc. (Please be careful to avoid tampering.)
If I was the GM of Myrtle Beach, I would try to work out a deal with all the NSFL teams that drafted my draft-eligible players this year so that we could get the band back together for a farewell tour. The team has started to gel extremely well and I think if we get all of our starters back we can defend the Ultimini crown and have a perfect season. I would also take a look at where we can improve in terms of low TPE inactive players and draft based on positional need, and not on best player available as we already have a very solid foundation. I also would keep the locker room tight and active at all times, something that has proven to be a tremendous success as the current general manager's do that already. Lastly, I would explore trades before the draft to target specific players if I think they would suit the teams needs. I would also look at making trades with other teams to weaken their position of strength by either acquire star players for lesser star players, or taking away their high draft picks to limit their draft success. Subterfuge and sabotage often go hand in hand afterall

HeHateMe PickSix - NSFL Draftee
HeHateMe PickSix is a generational cornerback that has been generating quite a bit of buzz during his DSFL season. Described by many as having a big mouth, with skills to back it up, the only knock on him is that some teams may take his "confident" attitude as a red flag especially when teams don't win right away. PickSix got off to a slow start in his DSFL career as his first 6 games was with a Portland team that didn't seem to have the atmosphere and winning attitude that PickSix brings to a team. After a mid-season trade to Myrtle Beach however, he exploded onto the scene and showed scouts and GM's alike what this generational CB has to offer. He finished 2nd in interceptions with 5, and finished 2nd in Pass Defended with 19. These numbers are made even more impressive when you factor in that he did that all in 8 games. Showing GM's that he's not just a one trick pony, he also pulled off a blocked punt in the last game of the season, and most recently in the semi finals of the playoffs, forced 2 fumbles to add to his already impressive stat line for the season. This is a can't miss prospect, the only question is, where will be go in the draft, and which team will overlook his mouth and potential distraction in their locker room to select this future Hall of Famer.

Question 1) MB ended their season on a tear winning 9 games. How big of an impact was HeHateMe PickSix to this streak? What has he brought to the team?
1) HeHateMe served as great depth to an already stellar defense. We gave him a spot in a better system where he can show off his skills a little bit in a low pressure CB2 environment and he has flourished since. He has brought attitude and toughness along with his quality play on the field and it has definitely helped the Buccaneers dominate the DSFL defensively.
Question 2) You were recently voted team captain by the players of MB. How will you guide the defense to victory on Wednesday
2) Gotta make sure everyone is communcating effectively and playing at the level we're used to seeing everyone play at. We need absolutely everyone to bring their all for the Ultimini game and as a captain it's my job to ensure that happens.
Question 3) Along with Rotticus, Dax and HeHateMe, you were part of a legendary secondary known as the No Fly Zone. Do you think the league will ever see another fearsome secondary such as this?
3) Yeah, next season when we return for our victory laps. Otherwise, I don't really think so. Frost/Cory had done a hell of a job putting this team/defense together and I really doubt that we will see something like this again.
4) Question 4) MB's defense was amazing this year, however the offense also scored at will behind the efforts of Sarvepally. How important is it to have an offense you can count on? Does it take some of the pressure off of the MB Defense?
4) Defenses win championships but offenses win you games. You can't win games if you can't score no matter how many points you hold the other team to. Ramos and McDavid's late season surges had a lot to do with out big win streak. On the other hand Sarvepally continued his already stellar season with solid performances strung together to put pressure on other team's defenses while giving us a break. All these were important factors on offense that contributed to our win streak and our defense's dominance even
