Keeping a fresh LR active is tough especially coming out of expansion. It's hard to watch players slowly get quieter until they disappear completely.
People love to attack MB for their LR but what MB did is how you save a team from contraction and keep players around. Hate an open LR all you want (all 7 non-MB) but if you want to save a team and a LR that's the best way to do it.
DSFL LRs arent about being secretive and just a small club of players like NSFL LRs, they're about keeping guys interested and keeping players checking in everyday and wanting to be apart of this community.
Norfolk had a great group of guys that I was excited to see come draft time and it's a shame they couldn't stick around.
