Task 1 Playoff Review
What an amazing Ultimus game! Who could have predicted the Copperhead’s going all the way and upsetting the Wraiths? It was a tough matchup for the Copperheads. The Copperheads were ranked in the middle of the pack in terms of yards allowed and yards gained on offense. But the Copperheads are more of a bend, but not break defense only allowing 20 point per game putting them at number 1 in this category. Whereas the Wraiths dominated in yard production and yards allowed in all categories, there biggest trouble during the year was points allowed, allowing 22.6 points per game putting them at number 5 in this category.
Yard production was not a problem for either team with each team going for over 400 yards in total offense. However, where the Wraiths struggled was in the air. Bigsby had trouble connecting with his receivers all night attempting 48 passes but only connecting on 23 of those attempts and throwing for 2 interceptions.
The story was different for the Copperheads. Cole was lighting up the field the entire night connecting on 68% of his passes, throwing four touchdowns ending the night with a rating of 128. And when Cole has trouble with his receivers opening up, he was able to use his feet rushing for 71 yards on 10 attempts. What a great game! With Cole’s performance I would have to give him the game ball.

Task 6 Expansion
The Central Valley Aggies should be the next expansion team for the DSFL. There are currently no DSFL teams located in California for the Orange County Otters and San Jose Sabercats to recruit from. The Central Valley is a large geographical area located in the middle of California surround by mountains with great views of the Sierra Nevadas to the East. It ranges from Bakersfield in the south to Redding in the north and includes the cities of Sacramento and Fresno. The Valley is majorly under served by major sports teams and is only served by minor league baseball teams and small named colleges. A major sports team would be a major draw to the locale. Ideal locations for the stadium could either be Fresno which is central to all other California cities or Sacramento which is due east from the Bay Area.
The Aggies would be the mascot for the new DSFL team based in the Central Valley. Agriculture is the biggest industry in the Central Valley boasting $50 billion in agricultural output and producing 40% of the nation's nuts and fruits. Agriculture is core to the lives of those living in the area and the Aggies nickname is a great representation of the locals and encompasses the many different aspects agriculture impacts their lives.

Task 8
Deshun Jones (S22) - DT - Scouting Report
Standing at 6'6" puts Deshun Jones in the 96th percentile at his position. While many would say this may put him at a disadvantage with a high center of mass. His tape at Cal Poly shows he can get just as low as anyone on the line. In addition with an arm length of 34 1/2", gives Jones an additional threat to quarterbacks the few times per game that he is not applying pressure to the quarterbacks. He
averages just under 2 batted balls per game.
There is a legitimate concern about Jones speed and agility. While he is not at the top of his class in these aspects, his arm length and strength more than make up his other deficiencies. An additional benefit of his arm length prevents interior lineman from getting into a good blocking position as their arm lengths cannot contend with Jones'. Paired with Jones' strength, he does not need special moves or speed to get around defenders as he just bulldozes 1, 2, or even 3 defenders causing the pocket to collapse which creates continuous pressure to quarterbacks throughout the game.
Most scouts will immediately overlook Jones coming from a non-FBS school. They'll say, "Wait until he plays against real offensive lineman." To which I think, "Yes, Please! Just you wait and see!"

Task 19 - K/P Appreciation
I want to take some time this ultimus week to appreciate the performance of Alex Dasistwirklichseinnachname. He is a S15 veteran who has been taken for granted for most of his career. You don’t think much of kickers when they are doing their job, but as soon as they make one mistake you want their head on the chopping block. Dasistwirklichseinnachname had an amazing postseason that made it possible for the Otters to win the Ultimus. Dasistwirklichseinnachname had 6 made field goals in his 3 postseason games making a 43- and 45-yard field goals against the Outlaws. But where he shined the most happened against the Wraiths in the Ultimus. His three field goals where the deciding factor between being crowned champions and being forgotten in obscurity.
We also can’t forget his punting performance either. Dasistwirklichseinnachname accumulated 15 punts averaging nearly 50 yards with three of those punts landing inside the 20 of his opponents. The field advantage game that Dasistwirklichseinnachname provided also made him an unsung hero, pinning the Wraiths twice inside the twenty. His first inside 20 pinning was a booming 64-yard punt that put the Wraiths next possession at the 11-yard line. His other pinning was a another long punt of 57 yards, causing both possessions by the Wraiths to be scoreless.
