6) Expansion
I've thought often about wanting to become an expansion GM. I'm not really sure why I never pursued it, but I think it was because the timing was never right. The first time that an opportunity opened up for me in that way was in S15 when we expanded the NSFL after that huge r/NFL class came in (and even then it was a pretty controversial decision to expand although at this point I think we are all glad that we did and it has worked out ok). But at the time I was a GM of the Hawks, so I couldn't leave nor did I want to.
But, little known fact, in like my first season someone (I think it might have been Oles) ran a side project where we redrafted the league and made our own teams and simmed a season. This was probably back in S6 or S7 or so. I was chosen as one of GMs and created me own branding: the Detroit After Dark. ngl I think it was pretty dope. Black and White were the only colors. I spent some good time creating the logo and everything which you can see here. I'd love to continue with a Detroit team if we had one because I have such a love for the city (and the state) and honestly, I even think black and white would be dope. So that's probably the direct that I'd go as far as branding. As far as team philosophy and strategy, I'd probably focus on good LR guys while building for the future. The City of Detroit has always been a slow burn wait-for-your-moment kind of vibe, so that's what we'd be like.

9) Brotherly Love
Ok this one I think might be clear, but maybe not to a lot of people. But I have a soft spot for the Colorado Yeti. It probably started not long after I joined the league and found everyone ragging on them so much. Because it was around that time that @bovovovo promised that he would stick a plunger up his butt if the Yeti went two seasons without winning a game. Well, it happened. The Yeti did their part, but no plungers were stuck anywhere as far as I know (right @Ben?). Quite unfortunate. Really as a GM I came to form my opinions and began to believe that a lot of it was self-inflicted, especially when it came to poor or unfortunate drafting. But that was only true to an extent because then L'Alto actually had a chance to play for the Yeti. That season was a lot of fun. It was probably around S12 or something like that. Because the LR was hyped up and there were a lot of good people there like PDX. Plus, we were led by bwestfield and infinite at the time which I think was a good call. Some said that the comradarie was similar to the way it was when the Yeti went like 0-28 or whatever it was. Unfortunately, I knew that I wasn't able to stay and that I'd need to go back to the Hawks, but I always had it in the back of my mind to come back and to try and bring a title to the fans of the state of Colorado who have been nothing by patient.
