Task 7
We won it all this season and there’s no reason why we won’t win it all again next season and the season after that. We are returning our entire roster and adding more active members in the draft. Cole, Tidwell and Mendonca arent going anywhere on the offensive side of the hall. The defense improved last season and will continue to improve. I don’t see any glaring weaknesses that won’t be addressed during the draft or in free agency. We are set up pretty nicely going forward and I couldn’t be more happy with the direction our GM and CO GM are taking us in. So I’m predicting a Copperhead dynasty for seasons to come. A dynasty that will net us free agents that want to be a part of a young, winning franchise. The fact that Austin is still a fairly new team gets lost in our recent success. We will have the target on our back going forward and it’s a challenge that every one of us is welcoming. The improvements we have made season offer season give me the confidence that we will continue to build off of this current success. The NSFL has only just begun to feel the strength that is the Austin Copperheads.
Task 9
I don't think it's any secret that I am a big fan of Sean O'Leary and his abilities as a wide receiver. He was drafted and immediately made an impact with the Pythons before stepping up to the NSFL and becoming a productive member of the Butchers. I find myself watching Butchers games when they play opposite of us when I normally wouldn't have any reason to, you know, since the Copperheads are the best team in the league at the moment. The guys makes all the plays. He just produces week in and week out. He runs some of the most crisp routes I have ever witnessed. He's able to separate from his defender and make some of the most acrobatic catches in the league. The other wide outs in the league should take note of O'Leary's skill set and try as best they can to emulate it. I won't toe the line of tampering too much, so I won't go too much into my desire to play with him. Even though we would be on opposite sides of the ball, I'd love to see those skills up close. I will, however, be content with watching him from afar. Chicago has a great wide out for years to come in O'Leary and I hope he gets to hoist a trophy because this guy puts in all the effort on the field and he's an absolute delight to watch work.
