After a strong all American game, Levon Novel really turned some heads. Not a big part of his passing attack he was able to rush for only 21 yards. The impressive part of that was that he was able to rush for a strong 5.2 yards per carry. That means the young back given the touches will be a forced to be reckoned with.
What skill sets he offers:
Out of the backfield he can be a power runner as was seen in the all American game. His running skills with the ball were on display even with limited touches. For the most part he does train his run game mainly with breaking tackles as well.
His other sill set includes being able to catch the ball. Novel wants to be a target for his qb so opposing teams don’t always know what is going to happen when he is on the field. His goal is to not be a one dimension player. Whether is a bail out option in a bad play or the running a wheel route or a screen he wants to be a target in the offense and some one his qb can trust. Being a multi dimensional player will hopefully means he can go higher in the draft.
