As someone who has been a champion of human oline players from day 1, this feels like a tremendous victory to see some of these numbers out there. To those who actually do doubt it, this is some serious proof of the value of even lower level players.
At some point if you could, I'm hoping you can take the mantle up again and do a part 2 comparing 750 bots to humans 550 and up. We don't actually know what the top end looks like and you're already showing to be an excellent representative of the argument in favor so I feel like you're the right person to fully put the definitive stamp on what it can be.
I definitely can do that next. Going to take a few days to decompress from trying to fight the sim engine and then I might look into it. Currently only one team - the Sabercats - use 750 TPE bots, which is why I didn't include anything up to that in the first run through.
I'm also considering looking at how the results change depending on what attributes I choose to cut to drop the TPE. I chose to cut endurance, agility, and speed within the template constraints fairly heavily for this run because I figured those were less valuable to the success of the lineman than strength, pass blocking, or run blocking were. I wonder if the same results would happen if I cut those attributes first though. Might throw that in with looking at 550TPE humans v. 700TPE bots.
