I'm going to be honest...I've been part of the NSFL for 9 months now and during that time I have completely neglected to research the past players who helped grow the league. I ended up reading all the submissions before me and actually began to learn quite a bit more about our little league. So the guy I picked is a guy who just missed the ballot this season and thats season 6 LB Brian Mills. After putting up a record breaking 142 tackles in a DSFL season for Tijuana, Mills become the number one overall pick in the 2021 Draft to NOLA. The guy was a consistent force during his 9 seasons playing for the Second Line and Yeti. During his tenure he compiled 403 tackles, 49 pass deflections, 8 interceptions, 30 sacks and even scored a defensive touchdown. Mills finest moment came during the 2024 season when he helped lead the Second Line to an Ultimus victory over the Baltimore Hawks. Mills also doubled up on his responsibilities and became coach of his beloved Tijuana Luchadores for a season while also starring in the NSFL. Overall Mills was just a solid contributor and and all around active member who absolutely deserves further consideration come next years Hall of Fame ballot.
