If there is one player who should be in the NSFL Hall of Fame, it is this year’s snub, Brian Mills. Mills enjoyed an illustrious career playing Linebacker in the NSFL. Some of Mills career highlights include racking up a whopping 134 tackles in the 2027 NSFL season, this is 5th most all time in one season. Mills also would Tally 15 career forced fumbles (this putting him 3rd all time). Not only was Mills a beast as an individual, but he was also a great team player. In S11 he would lead the Second line defense to an Ultimus title. Four years later, in S15, he would help Baltimore win a title using is Veteran presence. This year Mills received 6 out of the 12 votes needed to make it into the Hall of Fame. Fortunately for the integrity of the league, he will get another shot to be voted in on the next ballot. I would urge the voters not to make the same mistake twice in leaving Mills out. However, if for some reason Mills is snubbed again, I would highly question bribery within the voters. We all know that these things can tend to get political at times. Or maybe the Hall of Fame just isn’t a place for the true grit, no nonsensical approach that Mills brought to the game. If they want a flashy loudmouth player, this simply isn’t their guy. In the end, time will tell. Hopefully Mills will see his number in rafters sooner than later.
