One player that really deserves to be in the Hall of Fame is none other than Vincent Sharpei. He finished his career back in Season 9, coming off of a Ultimus Win with the New Orleans Second Line. He helped bring that team together, helping recruit Bayley Benson and Darren Smallwood, as well as leading the league in tackles that season. Vincent Sharpei also went to lead the league in tackles, or was top two, for most of his seasons at Linebacker. Remember, Sharpei came from playing Offensive Line in Season 1 through Season 3. He brought an energy to the field that was unmatched and was easily one of the best linebackers of that era. The only “issue” some voting people had were that Sharpei didn’t play long enough. There were many conversations in General Managers Chat about Sharpei and if he should or should not be Hall of Fame, and it always felt as if it was a 50/50 call. Vincent Sharpei should have been in the hall of fame, and was a huge snub, sadly, we will now never see him make the Hall of Fame and there isn’t much to do about it. Vincent brought a lot of competitiveness for the New Orleans Second Line team, and was apart of the best linebacking trio, ever.
