I'm sorry for these last write ups, they should have been the best but my mental capacity for football statistics has fallen apart after writing 7000 words on it.
10. (S1) RB - Omar Wright || New Entry -
@`xdave2456`
Average Grade: 14.75
Coming in at tenth overall on our list is star running back for the Orange County Otters, Omar Wright. Wright had an absolutely dominant season in Orange County, running over opponents with short and quick gains that made the Otters as successful as they were all year long. His physical side allows him to run over opposing teams tackles, ends, and linebackers as he threw himself into opposing defensive lines for three touchdowns this season. Alongside these three touchdowns, Wright posted 999 yards, falling one short in his final game of cracking the 1000 yard milestone he so desperately chased all season long. Wright finished the season at third in yards, tied for third in touchdowns, and with the longest catch of the season coming in at an insane 80 yards. Look for him to continue this solid play next season in Philadelphia.
9. (S1) DT - Mark Ramrio || New Entry -
@Anti-Hype
Average Grade: 9.25
Mark Ramrio came into the NSFL's inaugural season with very high expectations placed on his shoulders. Being selected by the Wraiths at 14th overall in the 3rd round, it was do or die for Ramrio. And evidence by his ranking and his stats this season, Ramrio chose to do rather than die. This Yellowknife defensive tackle put up very strong play for the Wraiths all year long, providing the type of physical support a team should expect from their defensive line. Touted as the number one rusher in the entire league, Ramrio was non-stop in his goal to put every quarterback he saw on the ground. Posting a massive 14 sacks on the year (placing him in second among all players), and adding another 57 tackles as well as a forced fumble, Ramrio was an unstoppable force and will attempt to continue his reign next season in Las Vegas.
8. (S1) QB - Chris Orosz || New Entry -
@Aenir
Average Grade: 8
Orosz comes in as one of the top quarterbacks in the league, and deserves the ranking just as much as the next guy. His ability to bomb passes down the field for quick gains made the dominant force he was all season. Yellowknife's offensive team would have been considerably weaker without a guy like C.O moving the ball around, and he even made the rushing team better. This is a player who can commit to every part of the game and challenges the role of a quarterback each and every time he plays. Orosz made a number of solid passes this year, but some of his better plays were in his ability to avoid rushers. Miraculous footwork lead to a legendary season of dodged sacks. Orosz put up incredible numbers on the year too, with 2788 yards, 14 touchdowns, and only 9 interceptions thrown. By using his abilities next year, Yellowknife will continue to be a force to be reckoned with.
7. (S1) DE - Jayce Tuck || New Entry -
@ErMurazor
Average Grade: 7
Tuck came into this season as a relatively unknown player, but quickly made a name for himself due to taking on commitments inside the league and with the Arizona Outlaws. The new J.T (Justin Timberlake is the Pantaloon and John Travolta is long gone) in America, Tuck is a fan favorite who is beloved by even the least dedicated of the football communities. Typical Tuck merchandise is worn by college age white girls from Ivy League colleges who attend games with their boyfriends, but that doesn't make the impact Tuck had on the league any less important. Tuck rounds out the last of the defensive line in this ranking, making him the best line man in the entire NSFL. With his 47 tackles, forced and recovered fumble, and a league leading 16 sacks, he deserves all the attention he's getting. An undoubtedly, will continue to get.
6. (S1) LB - Jonathan Saint || New Entry -
@jparks98
Average Grade: 6.5
When asked the question of how the Colorado Yeti made it to the NSFL Championship game against the Arizona Outlaws, Saint is one of two players who comes to mind. His dominant presence on the Yeti's defense made a name for itself, and Saint was quickly given the nickname of "Angel" by his team mates after the becoming "guardian of the end zone". While Saint does stop runners on occasion, his role this season was predominantly to rush the quarterback as he put up the best statistics out of any linebacker on the list. Saint provided his team with 14 sacks this season, as well as an interception, two fumbles forced, and a massive 101 tackles. His performance did not go unnoticed, and he will go down as one of the most valuable players acquired in the inaugural draft.
5. (S1) S - Iasiah Rashad || New Entry -
@Destroyer
Average Grade: 5.75
It will come as no surprise that the best secondary player, and arguably best defensive player of all comes in as the first player a part of the Top 5 in this Tpo 50 ranking. This stud managed to slip into the far reaches of the 18th round before finally being selected at 103rd overall by the Arizona Outlaws. In what may be the biggest steal in the entire draft, Rashad made huge moves this season to make a name for himself as the top safety the league has access to. Rashad made the most of a season riddled by quarterback failure, and picked off 10 passes this season, returning one for a defensive touchdown. As well as these interceptions, Rashad also took 59 tackles this year, making his performance more than just a ball handling one.
4. (S1) WR - Josh Garden || New Entry -
@Ballerstorm
Average Grade: 4.75
Once we get into the Top 5, it's a close knit battle between the top competitors and the lower downs as to who will take home the title, but sometimes you get a class with just too many top competitors. Garden is one of those players, easily putting up the best season by any receiver. The only reason he fell out of the top three is due to an insanely talented pool of players making their way past him. Despite his "low" ranking, Garden should still be happy with where he's placed. This season he managed to string together 70 receptions, averaging 16.8 per catch with a total yardage of 1178 for the league lead. Alongside this he posted 7 touchdowns, good for second overall only behind Westfield who placed 8. Garden has been and will continue to be one of the most dominant offensive threats the Yellowknife Wraiths have.
3. (S1) QB - Logan Noble || New Entry -
@Noble
Average Grade: 4.5
When looking for a star player, Logan Noble might come to mind. The Colorado Yeti were the shining star of the weaker NSFC conference, and much of this can be attributed to Noble's success with the ball all season long. Noble was able to work with the three man running team that the Yeti possessed, and worked the ball to multiple targets instead of focusing on a primary for most of the season. As well as this, Noble was an expert at finding holes in the opposing teams defense, picking through secondaries like no ones business for short bursts and gains. On the season, Noble completed 252/446 passes for a completion percentage of 56.5% (good for third among full time QB's). He took home 2603 yards (also placing him at third) as well as 15 touchdowns (2nd behind Vincent Draxel). Noble only posted eight interceptions, ranking him first among full time starting quarterbacks.
2. (S1) OL - Angus Winchester || New Entry -
@timeconsumer
Average Grade: 2.5
Angus Winchester was by many considered the undisputed player of the year this season, as the put up an absolutely legendary result with the Orange County Otters. To his dismay, he was not able to lead the Otters to the NSFL Championship, and ended up giving his only sack of the entire season up in the ASFC championship game against the Arizona Outlaws' Jayce Tuck. During the regular season, Winchester a league leading 65 pancakes, as well as what will forever be the unbeatable NSFL record of 0 sacks allowed. Winchester was a terrifying threat for opposing defensive lineman, and really broke into his first season in the NSFL in an unforgettable fashion. There is nowhere for Winchester to go but up from here as he rises towards the football hall of legends.
1. (S1) RB - Bubba Nuck || New Entry -
@NUCK
Average Grade: 1.75
Having completed every player up until #1, we are left with the player who has been voted not only by the community, but also the committee as the best player in the entirety of the NSFL. This player started his career with the Yellowknife Wraiths, skipping the NSFL draft and joining the team as a managerial player. He immediately took to being the best, and opened up the pre-season with one of the best starts of any teams running backs. He continued this success into the regular season, and lead the NSFL in every statistic but longest rush (which he posted 38 yards). Nuck's first season consisted of 277 rushing attempts where he averaged 4.4 yards for a total of 1217 yards this season. On top of his yardage, Nuck scored 6 rushing touchdowns this season. By all definition, Nuck was the best player this season, and will go down as the stuff of legend in the NSFL's fan community.
