(S21) - PT3 - Quarantine

Luchadores CB Andrew Witten would be devastated if the NSFL season was cancelled. He has always dreamed of playing professional football, and has finally made it. He thought he would play wide receiver at the professional level, but he found cornerback to be a natural fit when switching over to defense in high school.

In the free time gained by a cancelled season, I would spend time outside playing disc golf. These rounds would have to be played solo in order to conform to the social distancing policies, but I could continue to stay active and fit by playing one of the few sports that can be played alone. This sport promotes quick-twitch movement, explosiveness, creativity, and mental toughness. Bouncing back from a bad throw, bad hole, or a missed putt is important in order to save a round. Like disc golfers, cornerbacks must have short memories, bouncing back from giving up a long catch or a touchdown.

The rest of my time would be spent training my miniature schnauzer. She is smart and athletic, and she now has an agility course set up in our backyard. She and I would work on weaving through the slaloms, jumping over hurdles, and running through tunnels!
