Ozamataz would have mixed emotions about the cancellation or suspension of the DFSL season. It’s been a good start – a couple of INTs, people generally not throwing to his side of the field: and the Luchadors look excellent. However, with the business going on around the world, he’s not had the time to train and develop as much as he would like to. With a restart of the season, he’d have a lot more time to get into the gym and develop the characteristics required to be successful here in the DFSL. However, it’s a careful balancing act – other players would have a similar opportunity, and therefore would the Luchadores be as successful moving ahead? Well, they have great leadership and plans in place to continue getting better, so the answer to that is probably yes.
Ozamataz does strictly observe social distancing, though to be honest that’s not a lot different to how he lived his life before the East/West Bowl anyway. Since then it’s been a lot more difficult, with fans desperate for hugs and pictures. Luckily, most simply are satisfied nowadays with a resounding “It’s pronounced Ozamataz”, and then they go on their merry way. Everyone is doing their part.
