So they rejected it because they wanted the job for themselves

The team should have a say in their GM, I always hate when HO tries to conduct a GM search for a team that already exists when there is leadership in place.

I'm actually stunned. SO many good choices. You wind up with this.

There are a lot of good choices, and I don't think they plan on staying interim for long. Just what I said above I think a team should get to have a say in their future GM and that's what happened here.


For anyone saying someone outside should have been put in, they will be. Many of the applications will come from outside people, but a team, and a team as a whole, should have a choice on their future GM. This shouldn't just be a decision made by 1 person, 1 group. If the team has no faith in a GM and doesn't agree with the decision it will lead to worse problems down the road.
