Okay I wouldn’t have a problem with what Chicago’s doing here if I didn’t know the history behind this. Jiggly told me this when I was researching my Chicago article: “During this time I was desperately holding onto the team not because I wanted power, but because I just wanted a team in Chicago. I was obsessed with keeping the team. I was continually mocked by the rest of the league in the GM chat to the point where there were people calling for my team to be contracted.”

Sound familiar? This is the Chicago Blues happening all over again, but this time Oles is also pushing back against the team being relocated and rebranded. In my eyes this is why a player who has been a GM at both the DSFL and NSFL levels was rejected for a lack of experience.

I think HO did everything right here, but this is some juicy drama and I can’t wait for the next chapter
