For this task, I will talk about none other than the great Kalakar Solarin of Myrtle Beach. A rookie of this season for the Buccaneers, Kal has been quite impressive if you simply ignore some stats here and there. To give some stats to hype him up, first of all Kal has scored all 1 of his field goal attempts taken from over 50 yards away, for a 100% ratio from that range. He has scored the second-longest field goal of the season too, as he managed to hit one all the way from 54 yards away. He also has a perfect 3/3 record on attempts from under 20 yards away, showing that he gets it done in the tight areas where the offense can't. Furthermore, he has completed the second most field goals across the entire league, scoring 23, a big two more than third place and only two fewer than first spot. Some may argue that the actual ratio of field goals scored to total attempts is more important, but uhhhh no that's irrelevant. It's pretty obvious to anyone that watches games and turns off the TV whenever Solarin attemps a field goal from between 20-49 yards that he's the best in the business. (207 words) @Kalakar
For this scout report, there's tons of people from Myrtle Beach I could've chosen, but I decided to go with a top prospect from elsewhere to analyze: Dallas Birddogs Wide Receiver Jeffrey Phillips. The rookie has had an excellent season for Dallas, scoring 6 touchdowns, good for second best across all receivers in the DSFL. He's 14th among all receivers in number of receptions, with 37, and is 14th in the league in average yards per reception, with 11.5 yds/reception, but is higher up in total yards, tied for 12th with 424 total passing yards. Phillips' biggest strength is his speed, as he's very adept at getting into open space and losing his markers, and once he's off running with the ball, defensive players need to make their tackle attempts count or he's gone. His stamina is a big strength of his too, as his hard-working style of always making the defenders have a miserable time marking him never seems to wear him out. It's hard to tell where Phillips will end up going in the coming Draft, but he has shown a lot of upside this season in Dallas. In a draft class packed to the top with talent out wide, Phillips is definitely one who at the moment stands out above the average. (216 words) @DrunkenTeddy
I really love Myrtle Beach, and being there has really helped me stay active. I already had a lot of friends in there which helped a lot when I was feeling like I was just going to go inactive again, so they helped give me the motivation to actually make a decent player. To be fair being quarantined and having literally nothing to do helps with that too though lol. The culture in Myrtle Beach is great; chat is sometimes way too active for me to keep up with, but everyone in there is super friendly with everyone and there is always someone willing to lend a hand to people with questions. I have had lots of good nights of memeing around with people in there, and couldn't be happier for them to be my juniors team. I'm not overly active there so I don't think I could really make a proper suggestion on something that needs improving in their Discord, but I will say that that server is MASSIVE. I can only bear to actually use the general and team-only chat, because the sheer number of channels that are still used consistently is just extraordinarily overwhelming lmao. Maybe if Myrtle Beach was like the only Discord server I was in I would engage in other channels too, but I have both another sim league to pay attention to, and I guess a real life to worry about time-to-time.
