I know we've had plenty of disagreements in our time in HO together. I definitely didn't make your life any easier.
But honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better mentor and guide. You were my training wheels as I adjusted to being commissioner and you have left a lasting impression on me and my view of HO. I am who I am in this league in part because I was able to work side by side with you.
You put in long hours and did many many hard things for the good of this league. You dealt with people at their worst, tackled seemingly impossible challenges, suffered through many late nights all with grace. This league has been forever changed for the better because of your work. The work you have done is so often thankless. So I want to say thank you for everything, from the bottom of my heart.
I wish you all the best in this next chapter for you. Know that you will be sorely missed.
And yes, we'll keep the Minshew. . . at least for now
