The culture in Chicago has been an ongoing problem that a lot of GMs have tried to solve. I felt that when Steelsound took over you could see a change. Our locker room was way more active and everyone wanted to win. We all supported each other and knew that it was up to us to change the narrative about this team. It felt really good to see us coming together as team finally. Without getting into the past drama, but once Steelsound peaced out our locker room and culture regressed back to its former state. Which is really hard to take as I had honestly believed in him and his vision. But here we are with two new GMs and I really don't know anything about them. In fact, when they first took over they said they would be reaching out to us individually to get to know us. That was like 2 or so weeks ago and I have not heard from either of them. The locker room has pretty much turned into a ghost town again. HalfEatenOnionBagel has tried to create topic discussions every morning for the past 3 days to help bring some life back into the locker room. If you want to improve our culture you should be communicating every day with your team, the direction, what you expect from everyone. And maybe follow through with what you say....
