2) Playoffs MVP
Written: Wrote about a heroic performance on the field by any player this playoff season. Why do they deserve to be called the MVP of the playoffs?
Graphic: Create a graphic for said player showing their stats in the playoffs.
The Myrtle Beach Buccaneers came into the S21 season favorites to win an Ultimini, but their hero would end up being the underdog.
Chris Ramos lost the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers the S20 Ultimini with his poor performance and untimely interceptions. His performance was so bad that some teammates were considering moving to QB just for the championship game. Going into the S21 season he was the biggest question mark as well as our most scrutinized player. He had an up and down performance but lead the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers to the number one overall seed in the playoff. After the defense carried the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers to a shut out a victory, Ramos would get his chance for redemption. Ramos would play out of his mind for the Buccaneers. He would rush for over 70 yards, his high for the season, as well as score two touchdowns. He was easily the Most Valuable Player of the Ultimini. Ramos had the best performance of his career in the biggest game of his career. Ramos went from scapegoat to etching a lasting place in history for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. Ramos proved all the doubter wrong. He most likely will not see the field as a QB in the NSFL but made his impact at the position.
9) Dynasty
Written: Convince us that your team will be the next NSFL or DSFL dynasty.

This is an easy one. The Myrtle Beach Buccaneers are the next DSFL dynasty. They have made it to back to back Ultiminins, winning their first this year. The Buccaneers are easily the most hated team in the DSFL by the other DSFL teams, yet is the favorite destination for all incoming prospects. The record on the field speaks for itself. The real reason the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers are the next dynasty is because of how they scout. Myrtle Beach has an ear in almost every sim league so it is really easy for them to identify a veteran sim league player vs a new create. They also scout the new creates amazingly well. I had little to no contact with the majority of DSFL gms leading up to the draft. Myrtle Beach identified me as a top earner early on and when I fell in the draft due to a lack of exposure they jumped for me in the 3rd round. Myrtle Beach also had the same success with Brandon Booker and Heath Evans. Three players that were selected past the third round that ended up being max earners. In the DSFL, you need to be able to replenish your prospects every single season especially if you do well. The Buccaneers have proven they can keep up this high lively pipeline every single year. I see big big things for this franchise moving forward. This Ultimini was just the first of many.
18) Awards Season
Written: Make the case for one of your teammates to win an award at the NSFL or DSFL levels. What have they done to earn the nod?
Graphics: Present an argument for your teammate to win the award over the other competitors.
This post will be about my GM and teammate, Dax Frost. Frost should be the shoo in for two awards this year. First, He should be the GM of the year. He was with our a doubt the best DM in the DSFL and it would be a travesty if the did not win after being robbed last year. Secondly, He should be the Most Valuable Player in the DSFL
Dax Frost was robbed last year of being GM of the year. He leads a franchise that historically had struggled to their first Ultimini as the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. The award committee made a mistake last year, but can not make the same mismate this year. Frost leads the Buccaneers back to the Ultimini and ended up winning it all. Frost and Cory have started a dynasty in Myrtle Beach which is amazingly difficult given the turnover rate in the DSFL. They have built a community and culture that every prospect wants to be apart of. They get buy-in from their max earners all the way down to their more casual players. Frost should go to the NSFL as GM of the year.
Frost should also win the MVP. He was the best player on the best team. He leads the team in every way. He even split snaps with another running back completely evenly. The DSFL is a development league and Frost in no way cheated that principle. As important as running backs are in the DSFL, Frost played as good as anyone. You have to take into account team success when you are talking about the MVP. When you do that this is a no brainer.
There’s my case. Frost loses we riot.
20) Nostalgia
Written: What is your happiest memory in this league?
My happiest moment in this league had to be when I was drafted. I wasn’t a super early create, but started very soon after the /r/NFL post. I gathered my footing with the training and point tasks. This was my first sim league ever so I had to get on discord too. It was all so new and intimidating even. The very first scouting message I received was from Rain Delay on behalf of Myrtle Beach. I was so giddy that I was being scouted. Its something I honestly did not expect to enjoy as much as I did. After Myrtle Beach reached out, almost every other team touched base in some form or another. With the long-dead time before the draft, I made a media personality to kill the time. I happened to be really intrigued by Frost falling the draft so I made a little fluff piece on him. The NSFL draft happened and Vegeta was picked number one, perfect story for my reporter. I did a fluff piece on him. Both just happened to be with Myrtle Beach and writing those stories was my only real conversation with them outside of the initial scouting from Rain Delay. Once draft day comes, I know I would be either or 2nd or 3rd round pick. As names are being called I know there was a chance I could fall to Myrtle Beach. A few more names are called and then Bam its MB is up in the third round. That moment Bex said my name, I threw my airs up in the air and did the biggest fist pound of my life. I was overjoyed. By far my happiest moment and I doubt anything will ever top it for me. It was even better than winning an Ultimini.
