11) Rivalry
Written: Which team or player would you consider to be your greatest rival? Write 200 words on why you are rivals with them and why you want them to lose (don’t harass other users please).

Normally as a new player I think you would generally pick someone in your draft class as a rival. While I think I could make a case for some people in my s23 class, none come close due to the character I’ve made. As Son Goku, clearly the only player I can consider to be my greatest rival is Prince Vegeta. There is a lot of history between the two, spanning what is probably decades in DragonBall time and across different timelines. In the NSFL Vegeta is a max earner and went first overall in his NSFL draft. While I don’t think I’ll be able to match this, I hope to come close. Sure I would like to join the same team as Vegeta because we’re pals but I also think it would be fitting to join a different team. Joining a different team would allow us to potentially face off for the Ultimus and grow the rivalry some more. I will be chasing Vegeta through much of my career until he hits regression, I just need to keep on par with tpe earned per season. In a twist, much like Vegeta tries to keep up with Goku throughout DragonBall Z and Super, Goku will be trying to keep up with Vegeta throughout their NSFL careers.

19) Team Culture
Written: What is it about your team’s culture and/or locker room that makes you happy to be there? If there are any problems, what do you think should be done to improve them?

So technically with the offseason I’m no longer a member of the team, but I’m still in Myrtle Beach’s locker room for the time being. I knew a lot of people that are in it from before joining and overall it’s been a great place. With this being my third sim league that I’m in, I have my fair share of locker rooms. Each one has its own vibe and Myrtle Beach is by far the busiest. I think for anyone that has this locker room as their first one is in for a treat. Personally it’s hard for me to keep up with as I have NSFL on the backburner but I’m able to pop in at any point. Everyone that’s around is helpful and answers any questions I have. I’m still learning people’s names that I only know from NSFL but there’s a few guys that usually respond to me and I’m thankful for that. It’s also cool to see a mix of people I know from SHL and PBE combine. All in all it’s a top quality locker room. If Myrtle Beach doesn’t draft me I will actually be sad to go. Any other DSFL team I may join will have the bar set high for their locker room.

20) Nostalgia
Written: What is your happiest memory in this league?

My happiest memory in the league was just a few days ago. I’ve only been around the site for about two weeks but I managed to accomplish my first goal of winning the Ultimini. Sure, Son Goku hasn’t actually played a full game, or even appeared in a game at all but that doesn’t matter. When I initially signed up I wanted to be claimed by a team with hopes for a championship. I built this up in a media piece I wrote and narrowly avoided going to a team that didn’t even make the playoffs. They didn’t need my player but I’m very happy Myrtle Beach claimed me when they did. With the slew of users I know on the team there was no other place I wanted to go and win a championship with. Goku was there cheering from the sidelines as the boys did their thing and crushed all opposition. This has also taken a weight off of my career. I can freely go to any team even if they suck and not be concerned about missing out on an Ultimini as I already have one in my trophy case. It’s only downhill from here during my DSFL career so I will cherish the brief time I was around for S21.
