7) Boy oh boy, do I have alot of storys about being robbed out of the playoffs. Sometimes the sim is saying "HAHA you tripped them, Trippy Trippy Tripping Penalty." and boom there goes our momentum and boom theres a turnover on downs. I recall a very specific example of Tijuana vs either Myrtle Beach or Norfolk. We were down one TD and we were playing away. Our wonderful running back Ed Barker drives it through the middle on 3rd and Goal and because it tracks the right side of the ball, we didn't get the TD by literal pixels in the sim, we then proceeded to miss the field goal. Now, I know what you are saying, MB and Norfolk kicked it into high gear during the playoff push, but dear sir or madam I implore you to recognize the hard work that Tijuana put in for the playoffs, We were robbed countless times of countless first downs, we were the kings of the tripping penalty because the sim thinks we are got damn scumbags. It just goes to show you that if you don't have that filthy home field advantage you can never be sure of anything and that the sim will rip your heart out of your chest and eat it in front of you. We were one game short of the playoffs, and we will bring it back next year.
17) I've been sheltering in place in my new beach house now in Tijuana when I get a call from an advertisement agency. They on the phone talking about how fast I am, how I move with a blur that makes me look like a circle, a dot even. I'm here thinking "Wow, that's not cool, I'm obviously a Hexagon and I'm proud of that fact." but I hear them out. They say they want to paint my hexagon body up with this newly branded body paint to help define my shape better because they support hexagonal ideals. Now, this is a product I can get behind. So I roll up to the studio and see this neon red body paint and this almost perfectly black body paint next to it. I swear I'm staring into pure darkness, but they paint me up and no matter how fast I ran, I looked like the big strong hexagon I am. It is truly a work of genius and ingenuity. We film the ad of me running and the speed of a speeding hexagon and then holding the two cans of body paint. So, when you are fast like me, Remain a Hexagon with Geometry's Finest, the paint that will help you keep your shape.
19) Tijuana's locker room is one of the most supportive places I've ever been in. Everyone there supports everyone else on the team almost to a fault. We get TPE notifications, we mess around with each other, we support the community and those around us. We also have tons and tons of knowledgable people to help people with any questions that anyone has. We had a big push towards the playoffs this year that was ultimately futile, but we were so supportive and encouraging of each other there wasn't a single drop of negativity towards anyone else. We even did a little media drive where we helped out different foodbanks once the COVID-19 situation really started to pick up. It was a really wholesome move from some really wholesome guys. The Luchadores lead a life of fun and growth, it is never a bad locker room to be in and anyone would be lucky to be drafted to Tijuana. I'm excited to see who we gain in the upcoming draft and how they can have a great time with the rest of us Luchadores.
