Scouting Report: Dre Matthews
Dre Matthews is one of the hottest DSFL draft prospect. Dre Matthews is a 5'11 wide receiver coming out of the University of Florida. He spent all 4 years at the University of Florida playing wide receiver and 3 of those years he played with one of the DSFL's draft prospects, Tychondrius Hood.
During Dre's freshman year, he was WR3. While being WR3 he ran for 689 yds with 5 TDs. The Florida Gators made the playoffs during Dre's freshman season and he played in his first college football playoff game. Dre had 88 yards and 1 TD his first college football playoff game but it was not enough since their team lost. After Dre's freshman year he then became WR2 and had a much better season. Dre had 1233 yards with 12 TDs. He again did play in the college football playoffs having a great game. In his 2nd college playoff game he had 120 YDS and 2 TDs but the Gators fell short to make the National Championship game. In Dre's 3rd year he was finally WR1 and in his Junior year, he had 1512 YDS with 15 TDs. Dre in his 3rd college football playoff game he had 110 YDs with 2 TDs; however, they did not go on to the National Championship game once again. Dre decided not declare for the draft because after all these 3 years he wanted to win a national trophy for the Florida Gators. In Dre's final season, he had 1643 yds with 18 TDs. The Gators went to the College Football Playoffs and Dre played excellently. Dre in his last college football playoff game had 130 YDs with 3 TDs. This was enough for the Gators to advance the National Championship Game, something Dre wanted to be in for a long time. In Dre's first and final National Championship Game, Dre had 115 Yds with 2 TDs. Dre showed up in clutch and big moments for his team while getting the last catch to win the National Championship Game.
Coaches saw how hungry Dre was his freshman year, and they said that his work ethic was something out of this world. Coaches also told sources that Dre Matthews is a player that you would want in your locker room, a player that cares about his teammates. Dre also showed how loyal he is to a team. Instead of declaring draft after his junior season, he decided to stay with his team and win them a trophy. This could be great for teams because it shows the work and dedication one player has for a team.
Pay it Forward:
This simulation has been very fun to be apart of. I have met some new people, and the thing that is best about that, is that we all have the same passion about football even though we might not be a fan of the same teams, I am having a great time here. I would just like to thank RapidEagle for recommending this simulation to me. It has been less than 24 hours since I first joined this, and he has helped me a lot with the process doing the rookie tasks, and locating things. At first, I was hesitant about joining because the process of doing all this was confusing but I would like to thank him again. I am also thanking him for helping me choose if my player should be a wide receiver, line backer, or safety. It truly was a hard decision to come up; in fact, it took me basically an hour to choose between those three, and I would not be typing this if I did not make a decision. I would also like to thank Jay Cue, Brett Bundles, Chester Sweets, Asher Quinn, and others for helping me and reaching out to me via. Discord during this process. I would totally recommend those users to help new comers on what to do and where to locate things because this is a big forum and I know what they are going through. I am amazed on how many players, there is in this simulation. I am also glad that there is a lot of rookies too because I know I will make a lot of mistakes while doing this and I also know that those rookies will probably do the same mistakes I will do. I am also a person that asks so many questions, and I am sorry to those who got my many questions, but to those I asked they did not seem to mind.

Dre Matthews has been contacted to be in the next Jordan Brand. Dre Matthews was one of the most fast and explosive wide receivers for the Florida Gators, and of college football. Executives were not hesitant to interview him for the commercial. Executives told Dre that the new commercial was going to be about Never Giving Up. This commercial was perfect for Dre because he never gave up on giving the Florida Gators a national trophy. Executives were stunned, and amazed on how well Dre answered his questions. They said that he answered his questions with such humbleness, and flare, there wasn't anyone that could be a better fit for this commercial than him. This Jordan commercial is inspired by Dre's last play to win the National Championship. The coach calls a timeout and goes over the plays with the Gators' quarterback and Dre. The commercial then shows what is going on through Dre's mind and all he sees is the crowd, the lights, and the cameras. This was his first and final National Championship Game and he wanted to win because he shred sweat and tears for this moment. Dre remembers the clutchest moments in history sports such as Micheal Jordan's clutch crossover two against the Utah Jazz in the 1998 NBA Finals, Michael Vick's comeback against the New York Giants, Ray Allen's clutch three in Game Six of the 2013 NBA Finals, and Eli Manning escaping the pile of Patriot players and passing the ball to Giants former wide receiver David Tyree who makes the marvelous helmet catch. After all those flashbacks, Dre is back in the game. Matthews runs a route, tricks his defender and sees the football darting right towards him. Matthews catches and then runs to get the last and final touchdown.
Interview:
For this interview, I'll be interviewing Myrtle Beach Bucaneer's Defensive Tackle, Rapid Eagle
How do you a prepare for a game in the NSFL?
Just wrapping up my first season called up, but game prep wasn't too different from the DSFL. Knowing the opponent was the main key for me. Being a defensive lineman it was important to know where to attack an offensive line. Playing against Portland last season for an example was a fun time for me, as seen by the 3 sack game I had knowing there were weaknesses all over that line.
Who do you seek for guidance when you need help on something?
My GMs at both levels were amazing. Frost and Cort helped me get settled in the league and guide my player build in the right direction in the DSFL. Laser and Rev in the NSFL have also been crucial in my rookie season, I wouldn't be the player I am today without them.
What do you like most about the Myrtle Beach Bucaneers?
The culture around that locker room was definitely the best thing about the team. While there has been some controversy around the team right now, the culture is still amazing. Everyone was and is extremely welcoming and it just breeds an active team. I always wanted to be better because of my teammates. They helped me a lot staying active in this league.
How was your process of being drafted into the DSFL?
To be honest my DSFL draft story is quite boring. I was invited to the league by my friend Jeffrey, now Prince Vegeta and the forums were pretty intimidating. While I was on to of my tasks I only had 1 team every scout me. Frost reached out to me with scouting questions and I didn't hear from anyone else. Come draft day I really didn't know if anyone else wanted me. But I'm glad I ended up where I did.
What do you think about rising DSFL's draft prospect Dre Matthews?
I think he's a great guy, and an even better football player. Teams should be all over him come draft time, as he'd be an active addition to any locker room and will be a good earner.
Who do you have as favorite's to win in the NSFL next year?
Call me biased but I don't see how you been pick against the defending champions. Myrtle Beach is managed by great people and even all the alumni who stick around helping rookies just makes them my pick.
