This sucks, Jeffie helped someone get interested in the league again who had long lost interest. If MB didn't draft Gabe would Jeffie have been punished? Every other team had a chance to draft him. If he had been drafted by London would this be punishable?

I say this as someone who was resurrected here by Jeffie around the same time as Gabe. Jeffie clearly had the best interest of the league at heart.

I mean I think Bex made the most damning point, he wanted it done ASAP, rather than tell him to retire after the season, and that they wanted to claim him off waivers. That's more than just trying to bring someone back from IA. Could have said you can position change for free from OL, could have just said to come back and let Gabe decide on his own. Telling someone to retire, and to do it as soon as possible so that you can claim them off waivers is a lot more than just trying to bring someone back to the league.
