She reaches over to the night stand and pulls out a Trojan condom and it flashes to Krause standing in the coliseum helmet in one hand down by his side. Then small cut to the female pushing the condom into the males chest, he grabs it and proceedes with the business. Finally a cut to Trojan condoms logo saying. Safe sex is responsible sex.
Team Culture
So I started off by seeing the reddit post in R/NFL as alot of S22 players did. I didn't know what to expect and it was my first and only sim league, I followed the instructions/walkthroughs for rookies as best as possible. Unfortunately, I still just didn't grasp everything I should have and was a later round pick by the grey ducks. And here's why this couldn't have been a better place for me to be. I was accepted into the locker room. But for the first few parts of the season I kept pretty quite, only PMing the GMs for advice, until one week I really just took a shine to how together and open the locker room really was, no one ever has anything negative to say about each other, everyone consistently motivates and picks everyone up, even if we had a rough week. It's crazy how it works, how some random internet people can start to feel like friends, even family. I've had that experience before on some games but how quickly it happened in the grey ducks locker room is a testament to the GMs and how much importance they put on locker room, personality and activity before winning, having that culture means the winning will come, even if we had a down year, there was no better place for my growth than with there grey ducks.
Pay it forward
So I praised our locker room in team Culture and it's very hard to narrow down just one person I look up to or consider a friend. There all friends even family. But Ducky Bowser M.D. or as you guys may know him as Dewalt27. Was one to consistently motivate me, answer every question I asked, even if I may have seemed like that annoying little brother who just keeps asking why. After the initial intros, and help, we bonded in the locker room over our love of golf, which led to me giving all the tips I could and just talking about every aspect of how I improved, even getting him to buy on of the best training aids lol, I guess that was my help for his golf game as much as he helped me in here. Of course we all chimed in about my pictures of delicious smoked meats(giggity, giggity) and whiskey (buffalo trace and Woodford are 2 of the best, don't @me) I really just wanted to shine a light on someone who helped me start figuring this league out. And honestly he's definitely not the only one, Boomer Duck, JangoRhino, Buck, Voiceless and everyone I may have forgot could of been written about. But raise your glasses and let's take a shot for DeWalt27 for being a class act and a hell of a friend.
Next year
As we all know before last year's down year the ducks were back to back ultimini champions. And even tho some great players are going to be going on to do big things in the NSFL. We know that our GMs are going to bring in the best talent to fill in our holes. They're going to draft for activity in these areas and take the best possible players at positions we need. Saftey being the biggest one. Our locker room has never been more motivated to maximize all our potential, we're all on the same page that we won't to bring that chip back to the ducks trophy case. I never seen so much positivity in the locker room than these past few weeks. The constant checking in, motivating, reminders of opportunities, reaching out to help, it's been amazing. Once the draft is complete and we know who's coming back down, who our new rookies are, our GMs can then run simulations to get us in the best possible position for this year. We put are trust in them, just as they put there trust in us to stay active and continue improve. With all the camaraderie we have and the overall atmosphere this looks like a bounce back year for us ducks. So remember. “Ever seen a duck fight? No way. Why? Because the other animals are afraid. They know that if they mess with one duck, they’ve got to deal with the whole flock. I’m proud to be a duck and I’d be proud to fly with any one of you. So how ’bout it? Whose a duck?” Krause will be a Duck. VonPebbles will be a Duck. Everyone will be a Duck. I WILL BE A DUCK. BECAUSE, DUCKS FLY TOGETHER.
