*Running QBs:To Check The Box or Not Check The Box

Wolfie is a pocket passer with 75 speed and he does surprisingly well as a runner even with the box unchecked. I think he's got the two highest YPC over the last two seasons.

What exactly was the strat used for spread, spread/bal, and bal? Was it spread 30 or something?

Read the whole damn article infinite! a 75 speed runner is far more effective without the box, they suck ass with it. However it's at 80 speed that starts to change.

Yeah if you look at our results under OCO's balanced/spread strat you can see that a passer in the 75-79 speed range without the runner box actually runs as well or better than an 89 or 90 speed runner with the box checked. Interestingly while the 90 speed "mobile" QB did have a higher win rate than the 79 speed non-mobile it wasn't due to rushing efficiency, it appeared to come from an increase to passer efficiency.
