What the hell happens in that DSFL GM chat that every once in a while people seem to say stuff like being toxic as hell?
It's funny that a lot of people participate on the "Don't be a dick" and "let's make this a better league" threads and then apparently go into Discord and do the exact opposite. I get the idea that some users create some kind of persona on the forums and general discord and then use the GM chats to be absolute despicable people, bullying, insulting, etc.
I seem to remember someone (Bex perhaps?) saying something like "a joke is only a joke if the other person thinks of it like that". And obviously everyone agreed and hugged and kissed and said a bunch of cliché stuff. And now, we keep seeing people thinking about leaving the game, or having bad experiences because of the DSFL.
People need to realize this is only a game and the experience should be great for everyone, in the DSFL and the NSFL. And everyone needs to help in achieving that. Toxic people need to get fined and removed from GM jobs if they can't act like adults on a discord chat.
