I'm not talking about the TPE scale though. This change and the change to make training 500k/1m only increase the workload on someone who wants to keep up with the top players. Why do we need a bigger separation between the top players and the next level of players?

Yes the TPE scale limits the immediate impact of that, but over a few seasons it would be quite noticeable. These changes are inflating the TPE gain potential and will absolutely force people to write more fluff media and make awful graphics to keep up. It will not improve the quality of the site or retain more people. If anything I expect the increasing level of difficulty to stay with the top of the pack to drive people away from the site.

I've written 3229 words in the media section, and I've missed one points task. My player, Jogn, is a 72 Overall.

The other Pro Bowl Center, Tim Tebow, has written 0 media and hasn't posted in a month. He is a 69 Overall. I'm ok with the opportunity to open up a little distance between us.

I think the big story of Season 2 is going to be the S2 players who are active overtaking the S1 players who are not, and we'll be able to point at that success going forward. A big part of that is letting the guys who contribute a bunch have the opportunity to pick up TPE.

I feel like my archetype is objectively the worst DT archetype now. I can show my reasoning why (using timeconsumer and my stat analysis in the media section).

Archetype limitations feel like they're not going to start mattering until players start hitting caps, which is going to take a bit (I haven't looked into it, but I imagine late Season 3/early Season 4.

So the only reasons to buy an archetype change now are
a) you think that the opportunity is going to go away/become more expensive
B) you are willing to spend $4m to redistribute 50% of your TPE

the second part is the thing that I think is the most compelling (also I'm not 100% sure I like it but I'm willing to wait until other discussions die down in a day or two to talk about it)
