As a rookie defensive tackle I realize that my stats won't be these high numbers because we are used to be a foundation to the defensive line more often than not. Unless there are situations where a ball carrier enters my domain, so to be honest I don't fully understand how the numbers will play out. I will however be working to maintain and exceed those expectations that may exist and be the one of the best in my role.
Norfolk is looking damn good, excuse my french. In just the preseason alone we seem to be a unit and work well together. The locker room is a good place to grow and I see us chasing after that championship this year. I know that I want to help us get there and be apart of a monsterous defense, that'll put a stranglehold on the league's fiercest offenses.
As far as individual awards, I don't think I'll be focusing on that, only on what's in front of me in the steps moving forward. Still this going to be an exciting season for all of us and I feel blessed by the gods being where I'm at, the journey will be long but worthy.
