In all seriousness, I think Rule 5 passed in the NSFL. I personally think that since DE/DT and CB/S get switched around a *lot* by GMs (or at least they did back when I was a GM), it's hard to really fairly assess between them. MLB and SLB have significantly different roles (and different stat outputs) in the sim, but we don't separate them. I felt this was similar.

Rule 1 is a factor of scheduling in my opinion. Awards are voted on before the playoffs are even over - it's hard enough to get all the GMs to vote on the awards themselves and adding another thing to cram the schedule would make things more difficult.
